“We recently completed a major Accessibility DFG in Rushden at £30K and a new dining room extension to the rear of the property. The contractor who won the tender was a company called “Gaskell Refurbishments Ltd”, who was procured through In Tend.

Adrian Hampshire acted as the contract administrator and I acted as Clerk of works on site. The reason for this email was to just bring to your attention how impressed we both were with how this company performed, the quality of workmanship and customer service was excellent as was the whole invoicing and payment procedure. They were also far cheaper than any of their competitors following the tender process.

Myself and Adrian were invited to one of their new build sites yesterday in Irchester, to give us an insight of what they can do in respect of new build projects. We took our apprentice Surveyor Connor with us to give him the experience of new build first hand. The New build site consisted of two large barn conversions and two new build semi-detached properties one was a two bed and the other was a three bed, both built in stone with slate roofs. We were also invited to look round inside both the properties, I can categorically say that internal finishing was excellent and again the quality was impeccable I could not fault any of the works inside and out at all and I’ve been in this game for over 42 years. They provide the whole service, from planning to building control and signing off.

So based on the above information and knowing the group’s new build commitments in the future, both myself and Adrian would fully recommend that you give this company an opportunity to at least tender for future works within the group”
